Proverbs 22:29 "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men."
The men of Faithful Deliverance Temple stand firm on the promises of God. They strive to be the example the Christ has called them to be and commune with each other regularly. Led by Deacon Carl Clarke, the Men's Department coordinates an annual Men's Convention in the spring, which involves communing with men from local churches. Men's Sunday is the 4th and 5th Sundays of the month.
James 5:16 "The effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much"
Faithful Deliverance Temple holds a minister-led weekly intercessory prayer on Monday nights at 8 p.m. in the sanctuary. The Prayer Group is available for "Prayer in the Home" upon request. An annual Intercessory Prayer Breakfast is hosted the last Saturday in September to petition God for the community, people in leadership, our country and heads of government. There is also fasting and prayer on Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
Proverbs 31:30 "Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman, that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised."
The Women's ministry of Faithful Deliverance Temple unites the women in service to the church and community. Whilst serving Christ, they are serving others. The women of Faithful Deliverance Temple host an Annual Women's Convention in November. They unite with other women in ministry to share Holy Ghost-inspired insights in the Word of God. This time of spiritual refreshing concludes with the "100 Women in White" program, a celebration of godly women in scripture.
Women's Sunday is the 2nd Sunday of every month.
Youth and Young Adult Department (YYAD)
1 John 2:14 ", I have written you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one"
The youth and young adults of Faithful Deliverance Temple are trained to be all that Christ has preordained them to be. As the Youth Leader, Sis. Nyasha Hinds affirms the love of God and shows them that it is pure and unconditional. It is her duty to encourage them to love God with their whole hearts. The motto of the Department is "There is no age requirement to be saved" and during their annual convention, which takes place in June, the YYAD immerse themselves in prayer, service and praise and worship to God.
There are activities offered to the youth to help keep them anchored in God and their ministry. Programs such as Family Training Hour (3rd Fridays) and YYAD Fellowship Fridays (5th Fridays) are in place to provide guidance into their everyday lives and direction for their purpose and destiny in this world. Additionally, Youth Sunday is the 3rd Sunday of every month. This is the time when the youth lead the service and engage each other through youth-led moderating, ministering and exaltations.
